Terms and conditions
To rent this accommodation, we ask you for the following:
- Proof of enrolment at an Eindhoven educational institution for this academic year (Note: A print screen of your Studielink page is only valid if you are going to do a new degree program that starts the next academic year and for which there has not been issued an official registration certificate yet);
- The study you follow or will follow must be registered with the CROHO, CREBO or NVAO, designated as "funded education". If you are only taking a course, your employer is paying for the education or if you follow a private education you cannot rent from us;
- When you apply to an accommodation, the address on your Vestide registration must be equal to the registration with the municipality. If this does not match, you cannot rent the accommodation.
GOOD TO KNOW
- A room and studio can be occupied by a maximum of 1 student.
- An apartment must be occupied by 2 students. At least one of these students must be studying at the TU/e campus (first tenant). In case the first tenant moves out, the second tenant must also leave the apartment. Takeover of the contract is not possible by the second tenant. The apartments have a dividing wall between the living room and the bedroom. The furnished apartments are equipped with a double bed.
- All apartments have unfinished concrete walls and ceilings. You are not allowed to drill or paint.
- 1st year students (starters) get priority on 50% of the rooms in the group homes. This does not apply to the other housing types (studios or apartments).
- Masters, PhD and PDeng are given priority for studios and apartments.
- Your rent (basic rent + service charges) depends on the area of your accommodation. The maximum rents and service charges are listed with the different housing types. The actual costs may be lower when the lease is signed.
- Rent habilitation is available for students aged 20 to 23 who qualify for a studio.
